Our senate bill passed in the full senate today. We expected that the bill would only have its second reading today and that the full senate vote would be tomorrow. However, since it was uncontested, the third constitutional reading was dispensed and it then went to a vote! Along with several other unrelated bills, the senate passed it unanimously in the bloc vote for all of the uncontested bills that were there for their second readings. We're so close to done now! Crossover begins this week, and when that's done, the bills go off to the governor!
